Tiffany Risley, Director
Tiffany, the middle child of three, was born and raised in Scott County, IL where she graduated from Winchester High School in 2011. After graduation, Tiffany played basketball at the collegiate level at Illinois College before transferring to Western Illinois University where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Education, majoring in Special Education (LBS1). She married her husband, Steven, in 2016. After graduating she taught for a year and a half in the Brown County Public School System. In 2018, she desired to work closer to her home and husband’s family farm in Perry, IL and began working at Griggsville- Perry High School where she taught Special Education, Child Development, Debate, Mythology and Folklore, Freshman Seminar and served as a class sponsor. Tiffany and Steven welcomed their first daughter, Caroline, in 2018 and their second daughter, Cattie, in 2021. She began her Master’s in Educational Leadership at American College of Education in 2021 and graduated in 2023. Tiffany always knew that she wanted to pursue leadership in an educational setting and paired with her passion for early childhood education and intervention as well as family partnerships and engagement the director position at Brown County Early Learning Center was a perfect fit. When Tiffany isn’t playing chauffeur to her children’s various extracurriculars, working, or in the drive through line of her favorite coffee shop, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, and practicing yoga.
Vicki Anderson, Assistant Director
Vicki, the oldest of five, was born and raised in Rushville, IL. After graduating from RHS, she attended Quincy University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in English. She began pursuing a master’s degree in Early Childhood Administration in 2023 at National Louis University. In 1999, she began working at Building Blocks Daycare in Springfield. Vicki first worked with 2s and later, infants. In 2005, she began in the infant room at Kids’ n Care Daycare in Rushville and continued when it became Kountry Kids Learning Center. She has primarily worked with infants and preschool, but has floated to all the rooms. She married Kevin Anderson in 2008 and moved to Golden, IL. In 2010, they welcomed their son, Colin. Her family enjoys gardening, reading, and family movie nights. She is grateful to spend time with your kiddos at the Brown County Early Learning Center!
